Completely refurbished in early 2026, The Old Stables combines original character with a warm, contemporary interior. Designed by Jo Berryman, the exposed stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling create an inviting space made for relaxed family stays and convivial gatherings.

At the heart of the house is a beautifully designed country-style kitchen and elevated dining room, with a central granite island, wine storage, generous pantry and Bora hob. The triple-aspect living room features generous sofas, a wood burner, a large TV, well-stocked bookshelves and games for slower days.

Outside, the enclosed walled garden offers a peaceful spot to enjoy the surrounding countryside, from morning coffee to long lunches and alfresco dinners. Start the day at your own pace in the private gym, explore all Somerset has to offer, then settle in by the log burner as evening falls.
